Teraflex JK HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit for 5 on 5.5" Wheels - 4838235

The TeraFlex JK heavy duty adjustable tire carrier kit is designed to carry up to a 37” tire over the most extreme trails and obstacles, and provide easy and immediate access to the rear cargo area with a one-handed single action. The heavy duty adjustable tire mount is designed to support the additional weight of a full size spare (up to a 37" tire) by securely mounting the tire to the TeraFlex HD hinged carrier and tailgate. The complete adjustability allows for vertical adjustment as well as fore & aft adjustment. The heavily gusseted tire mount is formed and welded from CNC laser cut steel for superior strength. This adjustable carrier kit has been designed to be installed in conjunction with the teraflex HD hinged carrier, but can be installed separately. If installed without the HD hinged carrier the maximum tire size recommended is 35".

Note: This spare tire mount does not fit the factory JK wheel bolt pattern. This will only fit a *** 5x5.5" *** wheel bolt pattern. Use #4838130 if you are using the factory JK 5x5" wheel bolt pattern.
This carrier works with wheels that have 5" of backspacing or less.
A wheel spacer (#1055005) is available separately for wheels with more than 5" of backspacing.
