Most aftermarket bumper and tire configurations larger than 33" will not work and Smittybilt's relocation bracket repositions the spare tire 1-1/2 inches upwards and 1-1/2 inches out, giving the additional clearance required. Constructed from 3/16-inch laser cut steel, the bracket is strong enough to support an oversize wheel and tire, yet weighs a mere 11 pounds. The Smittybilt engineers utilized OE attachment points making installation a snap while retaining the OE brake light and camera functions without drilling or other modifications. (Please note: Swing gate reinforcement is recommended for 35" tires and required for 37” tires.)
